What Earnest Resole offers

As you wear your shoes, you will wear your rubber. This begins with the sole but often also impacts the rand (the strip of rubber around your toes) as you wear through the sole. I offer half sole and rand repair depending on what your shoe requires. I strive to ensure that your shoes come back to you as new as possible with the familiar feel of being yours. I offer rubber from Vibram (XS Grip, XS Grip 2 and XS Edge in 4mm thickness) and Davos rubber (Evolution, Stick Plus,Techno Stick and Stick Zero in 4mm thickness).

I can also repair pull tabs, velcro, holes and small portions of rubber delaminating. I will do my best to catch these when I inspect your shoes for a quote but please add these into the comments on the order form so I don't miss it. Cost depends on material and time.

I do pick ups/drop offs on the 1st and 3rd wednesday at Boulders, The Factory and BLOCS

ALL PRICING IS FOR PAIRS OF SHOES. IF YOU ARE AN ADAPTIVE CLIMBER AND WOULD LIKE A QUOTE ON A SINGLE SHOE RESOLE PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.

A note about Wear: Thin soles quickly progress to thin spots in your rand which quickly progress to holes as your rubber wears through - sometimes bad enough to create holes in your shoes which in the worst of cases can not be repaired without compromising the fit and integrity of your shoe. If you want to maximize the life of your shoe and save yourself some money, try and send them in before you start wearing through the rand rubber. Climbing style/precision, rock vs indoor wall and shoe style/rubber play a role in how fast and where the sole/rand wears. Nonetheless, we fix holes and replace rands. The vast majority of shoes I see require the rand to be replaced.  Sometimes damage is not visible until I begin the repair process so I reserve the right to make a final decision unless you specify that you would like to be checked in with. My goal is to return your shoes in the best shape possible.
